Installed directly within existing HVAC ductwork, it releases Photoplasma™ to neutralise odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as air circulates. Sizing is based on the airflow rate through the ductwork, measured in m3/hr. The range includes six models, from the ID-Lite (for 240 m3/hr) up to the ID-Ultra Max (for 9,500 m3/hr).
The system improves air quality by reducing odours, smoke, and VOCs throughout a facility. It also assists in HVAC coil maintenance by eradicating build-up, which enhances the efficiency and longevity of the entire ventilation system.
The system is designed for minimal maintenance. The internal lamps have a lifespan of 9,000 hours, meaning that for units operating 24/7, a simple annual lamp replacement is required.
It integrates seamlessly into ventilation pipes. Recommended installation locations include the Fresh Air Duct (FAD), Supply Air Duct (SAD), or Return Air Duct (RAD). For maximum efficacy, the UV lamp should be positioned vertically within the duct.
The unit is placed strategically within ventilation ducts where air passes over a powerful UV lamp. This interaction creates Biozone’s proprietary Photoplasma™ blend, which is then distributed evenly throughout the indoor environment to proactively neutralise contaminants.
